A judge only trial for a man accused of shooting dead, two brothers in a Mayfield Street, last year, will resume in a Supreme Court sitting in Newcastle tomorrow.
54-year-old Christopher Angelo Filippou has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder, but guilty to the manslaughter of 22-year-old Sam and 28-year-old, Luke Willis outside his house on June 27 last year.
The brothers had approached Filippou’s, Windeyer Street house, over what had been an escalating, neighbour’s dispute.
