A Taree boxer is well on his way towards turning his dream of fighting on the Mundine undercard later this year, into reality.
Beau Callaghan tasted victory in the professional ring for the first time when he took down Matt Ford in Maitland at the weekend.
The referee declared the win just 41 seconds into the second round.
The 25-year-old has attributed the victory to a change in his program since his last unsuccessful fight in March.
He’s also got a new coach in Tim Rodgers.
