BARRINGTON COAST POSTPONED

MidCoast Council has voted to rename its geographic region the “Barrington Coast.”

The name won by a slim margin at last night’s council meeting, with six members voting in favour and five voting against.

Already, a rescission motion for the controversial name has been lodged.

And if approved, the issue will be back on the table at the next meeting on August 22.
