Three people have been rescued, after getting into trouble in water at North Arm Cove in Port Stephens.
The alarm was raised at around six o’clock this morning, after the trio’s life jackets were spotted floating from shore.
They were rescued by water police and taken to Tomaree Hospital for observation.
It’s unknown at this stage how they came to be in the water.
