An 83-year-old Tamworth woman has once again been left shaken, after her Gunn Place unit was invaded for the second time this year.
“This same victim had a break in to her property in June this year and we’re investigating whether there are links between those two offences,” Inspector Phil O’Reilly from Oxley Local Area Command said.
Police say two young men forced entry through a sliding door and threatened the woman around 1am.
They then stole a small safe and her purse.
Police are still searching for the offenders.
“We have a description that they were caucasian in appearance, teenagers and both wearing hooded jackets,” Inspector O’Reilly said.
