A controversial wheelchair access ramp at Lakes Beach will be opened to the public on Saturday.
The ramp, built by volunteers, was the centre of an ownership debate with Wyong Shire Council earlier this month, with both parties denying legal responsibility for it.
But it seems the issue could soon be resolved, council set to meet on the issue next week to discuss an internal report recommending it takes ownership.
The ramp is part of a wider initiative to make the Central Coast a tourism hot spot in summer.
