CCTV IMAGE RELEASED AS INVESTIGATIONS INTO HOLD UP CONTINUE

Police have released a CCTV image as part of their investigations into an armed hold up of a convenience store on the Central Coast.

A man, armed with a machete, held up a store in Berkeley Vale around 7pm on Saturday.

A sum of cash was taken and a staff member allegedly assaulted,suffering a cut hand before the offender fled.

A person of interest was last seen on Lakedge Avenue, and is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, with a slim build, and between 190 and 200cms tall.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark long pants, red joggers and had his face covered.
