ELDERLY MAN STRUCK WITH A BOTTLE OF WILD TURKEY AT WYONG

An elderly man has been assaulted with a glass bottle outside a Wyong pub yesterday.

The 71-year-old was allegedly struck across the head with a bottle of Wild Turkey and had his bag stolen outside the Grand Hotel shortly after 1pm.

Police say the female attacker stole cash and medication from his bag before throwing it away.

The 31-year-old woman was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and inflict actual bodily harm – to front Wyong Local Court in June.
