Up to eight defibrillators could soon be installed around Tamworth’s sporting areas.
Local MP Kevin Anderson says almost $100,000 will go towards the medical devices, used in the event of a heart attack.
“To have something like that on hand, easily accessible, very easy to use and could ultimately save a life? For me, it’s a must have,” he said
Where exactly they will go will be decided over the coming weeks.
