Port Macquarie’s reclaimed water network will be expanded, thanks to a funding boost from the Federal Government.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has accepted a grant for half of the cost of the $700,000 project.
Recycled water is already being used by commercial customers such as car washes and sporting clubs.
Several council-owned parks and sports grounds also draw from the Hindman Street plant.
