Mother and newborn whale captured on camera

Drone vision of a mother and her newborn whale taken off the Coffs Coast has gone viral, with the rare footage sparking excitement amongst locals.

Nicknamed “Sapphire” – both Mum and her calf were spotted again today by keen whale-watchers, hoping to catch a glimpse of the newborn.
