A 15-year-old Kurri Kurri boy has been charged with numerous driving and drug offences after allegedly leading police on a lengthy car chase throughout the Hunter Valley last night.
Officers began following a car at Edgeworth just before six o’clock, after they noticed it was missing a window.
They then pursued the vehicle before it ran out of petrol at Kurri Kurri.
A few more details on this incident would have been good..A 30 second report on NBN news for a local matter is disappointing as is always the case with reporting of news events in the Newcastle and Hunter area..We saw 8 police cars of varying models go through Kurri one after the other. One would have thought it was a much bigger incident.
