Swimming season has officially ended in Tamworth, with Scully Park Pool going into hibernation.
The pool, which was the only public swimming facility still operating, reopened in October.
Council says attendance this summer was down by almost 20 per cent on previous years – possibly because of the cooler than usual weather.
The reduction in swimmers saw the city’s other public pool close ahead of schedule in February.
