TRICKY TASK FOR RESCUE CHOPPER

The Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was called to a tricky job this morning.

A 22 year old man was climbing Mount Warning when he dislocated his left knee.

Almost 1000 metres above sea level, the chopper was unable to land on the steep slope.

An intensive care paramedic was winched down to retrieve the patient, who was then flown to Tweed Heads Hospital.
