To Far North Coast Baseball, and Marist Brothers have lost their first match of the season, going down against reigning premiers, Workers Club.
Seth McClelland lead from the front with Workers defeating Brothers, 14 – 2.
It was a similar story when the Redbirds lined up against Norths, where they won by 12 runs.
Next week, Workers will play Norths, while Redbirds play Brothers.
