Ballina has won the right to host next year’s Junior Regionals touch football tournament.
The Regionals brings together 300 of the best junior players from the state’s six regions to compete in the boys and girls divisions from 14s to 18s.
It’ll be only the third time in its 16-year history a Northern New South Wales town has hosted the event.
The competition will be held at Saunders Oval in April.
