WORK BEGINS ON LIBRARY CAFE

A new cafe at the Greater Taree Library will be up and running early next year, with work on the project beginning this week.
Library staff are excited about its opening and say it will be a big hit with book lovers.
“There’s a great sense of anticipation in the community and lots of people are really interested in being able to have a coffee and a snack when they visit the library so it’s a pretty popular move.”
The cafe will also be a pathway to employment for people with disabilities, with local company Valley Industries training the staff.
