It’s that time of year again – the Easter long weekend means more cars on the roads and longer travel times.
Police will be out in force on the highway, and their message is clear – slow down and stop for a rest when you can.
“We’re just asking everyone to just drive slowly to the conditions. Take their time getting from point A to point B safely. Their families and lives are more important are being late two or three minutes.”
Police will be conducting random blood and drug testing throughout the long weekend
