SUSPICIOUS KOALA DEATH CONDEMNED

Port Macquarie’s Koala Hospital has described the suspicious death of a koala near Laurieton as a ‘cowardly act.’

Speaking for the first time since the gruesome discovery, the hospital says the death is being treated as an act of animal cruelty.

The koala was found dead – believed to have been pierced with an arrow or something similar over the weekend.
