Terrigal’s Tim Schofield has been named captain of the Australian surf lifesaving team ahead of the International Surf Rescue Challenge in August.
Schofield’s elevation to captain follows Shannon Eckstein making himself unavailable.
Australia has named a star-studded line-up, with Ali Day, Kendrick Louis, and Liz Pluimers all set to compete.
