NSW COUNTRY EAGLES FAIL TO SOAR FOLLOWING LOSS TO FIJI DRUA IN SUVA

It was always going to be a tough ask for the New South Wales Country Eagles, with the result of today’s match only reiterating that.
The Eagles travelled to Fiji for round five of the National Rugby Championship, where the homeside downed the country boys by 41 points.
A try just before half-time saw the Eagles trail 24 to 7 at the break.
Fiji going on to score 24 unanswered points in the second half to win 48-7.
The Eagles now host Brisbane City next Sunday at Camden Rugby Park, before heading to Tamworth’s Scully Park on October 13, for their match with Queensland Country.
