Newcastle clubs Fanny’s and MJ Finnegan’s have again been labelled as two of the most violent venues in the state.
The King Street Hotel was also named in New South Wales’s most violent venues list.
Fanny’s topped the list recording 28 incidents in 2011/2012, with 21 at MJ Finnegans.
The two venues will have to continue enforcing restrictions such as a 2am lockout, stop serving alcohol half an hour before closing and a limit of four drinks per customer.
The King Street Hotel was classed as a ‘level 2’ venue, recording 16 incidents.
