A driver has crashed over a median strip – and into a fence – outside Byron Bay Police Station.
Shortly after 2.30 on Sunday morning, an Ocean Shores man was arrested after a collision.
Officers allege the 32-year-old was under the influence of alcohol while driving – he was taken to Byron Bay Hospital for testing.
The man will face court at a later date.
It’s the second time a driver has hit the median strip in six months.
