A 10-year-old boy has been flown to Westmead Children’s Hopsital after being hit by a car near Wyong this afternoon.
The incident occurred outside the IGA on Wallarah Road in Kanwal just before 1pm.
The boy suffered injuries to his pelvis as well as a number of abrasions and is in a stable condition.

The Careflight chopper crew landed on Kanwal oval and walked with police to the accident scene which was only a couple of hundred meters away,just off Pearce Rd Kanwal.
