SEVEN NORTHERN RIVERS RESIDENTS ACKNOWLEDGED ON THE QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY HONOUR LIST

On the Northern Rivers Terranora’s Hugh Fairfull-Smith has been honoured for his service to geriatric medicine.

For efforts in industrial relations… The former national president of the Australian services union, Burringbar’s Stephen Bierney, also awarded.

Rural fire service volunteer of 50 years, Brian Williams was recognised for his service.

And – Empire Vale’s Marie Taylor, Susan Bell of Skennars Head, Goonellabah’s Brian Henry and Thomas Cummings are also local recipients.
