A teenager’s been charged with assaulting police after two officers were injured during a brawl involving up to 150 people at Gateshead last night.
The male officers were allegedly hit with cans of alcohol as they tried to break up the fight, while a lump of concrete was also thrown through the window of an unoccupied police vehicle.
It’s believed the melee started on the corner of Plane and Acacia Streets at around 8:30 after a party in the area was cancelled.

I think enough is enough .. these deliquint kid’s get away with to much due to the do gooders .. lock them up and teach them a lesson .. while they continue to get away with blue murder you will always have this stuff happen … i’m sick to death of reading crap like this and thinking there is a easy fix .. allow parents to have discipline in their houses again so the children wouldn’t be game to do something like this .
