Sydney’s Ron Hay has taken out the Newcastle round of the New South Wales Hillclimb championship.
Wangi’s Amy Mrcela came agonisingly close to becoming the first woman to win the event in its 53 year history, finishing a close third behind Hay and Coffs Harbour’s Dave Morrow.
