Four people are recovering in hospital after a two-car collision on the New England Highway at Kootingal this afternoon.
It’s alleged a Kia was travelling southbound, when a ute made an unexpected U-Turn at the intersection of Porcupine and Sandy Road… hitting the car.
Four people were taken to Tamworth Base Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations into the crash are continuing.
