Concerns over a proposed upmarket gentlemen’s club, with topless waitresses, in the centre of the city, has prompted member for Newcastle Tim Owen, to urge the public to have its say on the development.
The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority is considering an application to transfer the liquor licence from the Crown and Anchor Hotel to the proposed establishment.
Part of the authority’s assessment process will be to consider all submissions and concerns before making a determination on the licence transfer.
