HUNTER ANIMAL GROUPS PLEA FOR KOALAS TO BE LISTED AS ‘ENDANGERED’

Animal groups across the Hunter are pleading for Federal Environment Minister Tony Burke to list the koala as an endangered species.

The minister’s deadline for a decision on the matter is Monday.
