Emergency workers are calling for a freeze on new liquor licences on the Northern Rivers – saying they’re fed up with being targeted by drunken thugs.
They want the ban in place until a government inquiry into alcohol outlet density is complete, but Byron’s Chamber of Commerce believes it’s a step too far.
