An increased use of synthetic drugs in the Hunter is expected to feature in a parliamentary inquiry into the effectiveness of laws surrounding the products.
The report is being conducted by the state’s Legal Affairs Committee, which member for Cessnock Clayton Barr and Wallsend MP Sonia Hornery are members.
It aims to provide recommendations on how to control use.
