Archibald Prize winner Wendy Sharpe has been awarded the $10,000 Manning Art Prize, for her oil painting titled ‘Jill Mackay with a Mexian Cloth’.
The Sydney artist was chosen by renowned art critic John McDonald from more than 80 finalists.
This year’s Manning Art Prize centred around the theme Naked and Nude, and attracted a record 320 entries from across the country.
The works will be on exhibition until November 10.
