DAILY COVID CASES NUMBERS IN NORTHERN NSW DOWN FROM YESTERDAY

The number of new infections in Northern New South Wales has almost halved since yesterday, the local health district recording 34.

There were still long queues at testing clinics though, just days out from Christmas.
