ALLEGED ASSUALT OF FRANK BAXTER OFFICER

Nearly a dozen inmates climbed onto the roof of Kariong’s juvenile centre overnight, after workers at Frank Baxter walked off the job, following an alleged attack on an officer.

The Public Service Association is calling for immediate action from the State Government, to address ‘staff safety’.

The Union and the Department of Justice will meet this week to discuss security plans moving forward.
