Gold Coast police are on the lookout for a man after an attempted hold up a service station over the weekend.
Around 3.30am on Sunday, a man entered the Marine Parade business in Southport, armed with a large knife.
He threatened staff and demanded cash, but fled the scene empty-handed.
No one was injured.
The man was wearing dark jeans, a long-sleeved dark top and had a black shirt wrapped around the lower part of his face.
