The lead up to the state election in March is heating up, with councillor Allan McCudden announcing he’ll stand as an independent for the seat of Cessnock.
It follows yesterday’s news, Liberal Tim Owen will contest the seat of Newcastle against Labor’s Jodi McKay and independent John Tate.
