Urunga Surf Life Saving Club should find out tonight whether it will be banned from taking part in competitions for up to 12 months.
A North Coast Branch meeting in Sawtell will hear the latest from the judiciary on allegations Urunga failed to meet its patrol obligations during the holiday season.
It’s understood there were not enough volunteers to patrol Hungry Head beach for two hours on Christmas Day.
Urunga club officials aren’t commenting, but Surf Life Saving New South Wales says any suspension would not affect patrols, training or nippers activities.
