Chad Reed is clinging to his slender lead in the US Motocross standings, with the Kurri Kurri champion lucky to claim the overall victory at the Redbud National in Michigan.
Reed won the first Moto from main rival 20-year-old Ryan Dungey, who again was the runner up in the second race – this time to Ryan Villipoto.
Reed’s third, coupled with the win was deemed enough for full points, much to the delight of his Australian fans.
