Fire crews on the Northern Rivers have spent the day trying to extinguish a macadamia silo fire at Brooklet.
They were called to the property on Friday Hut Road at 3 o’clock this morning, with nine trucks and 45 firefighters assisting.
Pumping water from a nearby lake, crews began using foam to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters remain on scene.
