NRRRL clubs will tonight vote on a possible revamp of the competition.
A proposal has been put forward that would split the the 14 teams into a northern and southern conference.
Teams within each area would play two rounds against each other, with a third round to include teams from the other conference.
The revamp would help cut travelling costs for players and supporters.
