Two Coonabarabran residents have travelled to Sydney this morning to deliver a letter to Premier Mike Baird, calling for the Narrabri Gas Project to be stopped.
Nicole Hunter and Peter Small from the Coonabarabran Residents Against Coal Seam Gas Group, say the government needs to abandon a memorandum of understanding to fast track Santos’ activity in the Pilliga.
The North West Alliance is also adamant work should not proceed, until all of the Chief Scientist’s recommendations are implemented.
