WEATHER UPDATE: WARM START TO AUGUST

It has been an amazing start to August picking up where July left off, warm and very sunny.

Hardly a cloud in the sky on this Monday and Tuesday looks to be the same with the mercury climbing a little further over the next couple of days.

On Wednesday cloud will increase with a cold front approaching.

Ahead of the front it will be very warm with temperatures climbing into the mid 20s for northern NSW and SE QLD. A rain band will be associated with the change and storms will be possible Wednesday afternoon especially near the northern NSW ranges.

Showers will contract to the coast on Thursday, clearing on Friday in time for a warm and sunny weekend.
