NEWCASTLE HOSTS PALLIATIVE CARE ROUNTABLE

Community members and health professionals had the chance to discuss their experiences with palliative care services, during a roundtable in Newcastle today.
The last of nine held across New South Wales, the forums are designed to help the state government improve access to end-of-life care in regional areas.
“We’re listening to everybody. It will inform policy, it will inform a discussion paper we’re putting up in the next month or so. I’m very much hoping it’ll address a range of issues,” said Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter, Scot MacDonald.
