Newcastle sides claimed a clean sweep on rep weekend in local rugby league, in the main game at Maitland Sportsground, it was the Ron Massey Cup side first on the board, but the Newcastle Rebels were quick to hit back.
A nice kick from Alex Langbridge and the perfect bounce sent Sam Keenan over.
Keenan finished the game with three tries – Newcastle scoring a 30 points to 20 win.
The Emerging Rebels dominated the Nathan Blacklock Invitational Side – 64 – 6 winners.

Meanwhile, in the ladies league tag – the Newcastle Rebels demolished NorthWest Yinarli 44 points to 6.
The Rebels raced out to 32-nil at half time and never looked back.
