NORTH WEST PROVIDES TALENT FOR BAA-BAAS

Two north west rugby union products will don the black-and-white of the Barbarians when they tackle South Africa in England this weekend.

After missing out on the Wallabies Spring Tour squad, Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan will start the match at tighthead prop.

While Quirindi junior Sam Carter has been named on the bench as a second row replacement.

They join an inexperienced Barbarians outfit which boasts just 56 Test matches between the 23-man squad.
