Meanwhile, an Armidale Pub has been slapped with a $5000 fine after it breached covid laws last Friday.
It’s alleged the pub accepted a booking of 40 people into one small sitting room.
“My understanding is that the group of people were getting together for a wake type situation, but again they’ve now put other peoples lives at risk from their behaviour and that’s something that I don’t think any community would stand for.”
Occupants also failed to comply with social distancing.
