Indigenous storytellers and writers are in demand on the Northern Rivers.
Lismore TAFE is preparing to run a specialised screen-writing workshop to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders break into the Australian film
“Things like Redfern Now being a big winner at the logies and the Sapphires being a big winner at the ACRA awards those kind of things help our representation behind the scenes but it wouldn’t hurt to have a couple of black faces on Home and Away.”
The three-day workshop will be held at Invercauld House in August.
Applications close on July 1.
