There was an outpouring of grief on the Gold Coast today as Southport bashing victim, Kane Barry was remembered as a kind and loving father.
The gathering doubled as a fundraiser for his young daughter Ellie May.
Mr Barry had his life support switched off after allegedly being choked out by his neighbour, two weeks ago.
Nathan Sanchez has been charged with his murder.
