Promoter Graham Boyd is working on a plan to bring two of the Hunter’s highest profile motorbike riders home for a special event later this year.
Meanwhile, the special speedway meeting Boyd had organised for Newcastle Showground tomorrow night has been cancelled.
The event was set to feature local favourites, such as newly-crowned Australian champion Jason Doyle, as well as a host of internationals… but the wet weather has made the track unrideable.
